BATHROOM ENCOUNTERS

IMMERSIVE INSTALLATION USING SOUND & PROJECTION TO TRANSFORM UTILITARIAN SPACE

This multi channeled installation scales to the environment, utilizing available architecture and unsuspecting surfaces. Caught between the digital character’s gaze, the viewer catches shards of the story projected onto their body. These seemingly accidental encounters encourage an unadulterated and kinesthetic reception of the story.

BATHROOM ENCOUNTERS reconstitutes Baldwin’s film QUICK SLICE which premiered as a long-form installation at New York Live Arts alongside “Paramodernities” by award-winning choreographer Netta Yerushalmy.
